Manor Gardens bungalows are well-designed, with private patios and access to lovely communal gardens.
An independent community
Residents can be as private or as sociable as they want to be. For example, there is a comfortable communal lounge where residents can get together for social activities, and which also provides the ideal setting for quarterly meetings with Trust representatives.
There is also a guest room available to visiting friends and family members, for a small charge.
Reassuringly safe
There is a Duty Manager on site from 8 am to 5 pm seven days a week.
He/she will make contact with each resident every day by calling or visiting, and answer any alarm calls.
Each bungalow has a pull-cord Call Alarm and Communication System, enabling residents to summon the Duty Manager quickly in an emergency.
All Duty Managers are trained in first aid and will summon a doctor or the ambulance service if needs be.
An out-of-hours emergency service is provided between 5 pm and 8 am
Fairly priced
Bungalows are let at a ‘fair rent’, with the cost wardens and of maintaining the Call Alarm and Communication System included in the support charge.
