Our strategic vision – May 2010

In November 2009 our Trustees agreed that our new long-term strategy should be based on the values of listening, evidence, leadership, making a difference, excellence and evaluation – and additionally, that the strategy should be built from a strong evidence base.

Between January and the end of April 2010, we consulted a wide range of individuals and organisations across Gloucestershire, including people with disabilities and service providers, commissioners and decision-makers in the voluntary and public sectors.

We have also read and commissioned a number of reports about disability in Gloucestershire in 2010, mental health services, dementia services and housing.

Over the summer, our Trustees will be looking at this evidence and discussing the options, with a view to publishing the long-term strategy in the autumn.
