Join an Action Learning Set
Barnwood Trust is looking to bring together a small group of practitioners who are engaged in applying innovative strengths-based approaches to issues in health, social care, housing and community safety. This group will have the opportunity to take part in an ‘Action Learning Set’.
- Are you working in health, housing, social care or community safety and keen to develop your skills to find solutions to situations at both work and home?
- Would you welcome the opportunity to join a small group of practitioners to work through issues, sharing ideas and challenging perceptions in a supportive environment?
Join our Action Learning set which offers a powerful process through which a diverse group of peers work together and through reflection, listening and questioning are better able to respond effectively to situations in both professional and home life.
The Action Learning set will consist of 1 full day session and 5 half day sessions over a 7 month period. Group size is usually limited to 8 members to enable everyone to make a contribution and present issues to the group.
Through Action Learning you can expect to experience many positive changes including;
- Acquiring long lasting problem solving skills
- Evolving fresh ideas
- Forming practical action plans to achieve the desired results
