Understanding your crowd for crowdfunding

Date: 12th June 2019

Time: 9.45am – 4pm

Venue: The Edge Community Centre, Typhoon Way, Brockworth, Gloucester. GL3 4DY

Notes: There is a small free car park available next to the community centre, and free roadside parking nearby.

Crowdfunding is becoming an increasingly popular way of generating funds, raising awareness and building stronger communities for charities and projects of all sizes. Your “crowd” is at the heart of any crowdfunding success. But how do you make the most of it? This full day, interactive workshop is designed to enable small charities and projects to understand their networks, break them down into the roles they need, and give tips for growing your audience. Come prepared for lots of practical examples, exercises and to share ideas and experiences.

By the end of this workshop you will have:

  • Enhanced your ability to engage, mobilise and organise your networks in support of crowdfunding campaigns
  • Understanding of your potential donors, think about your network – and create a donor league table
  • Increased your confidence to use crowdfunding for your own campaigns

This workshop is facilitated by The Social Change Agency
