Workshop: Building Welcoming Communities

Notes: There is free parking available at the centre.
In this workshop you will discover tools and techniques that that will help you build welcoming communities that enable people to be better connected to their community and discover a greater sense of belonging. We’ll explore practical approaches to discovering local assets and learn how these can be connected together to build safer, healthier and more inclusive communities. You’ll also hear stories of how people across Gloucestershire are developing their practice in Asset Based Community Development, enabling friends and neighbours to get together to do the things they love, and make a difference to where they live.
This workshop has a maximum capacity of 15 attendees and places are reserved on a first come, first serve basis. If you book onto the workshop after the capacity has been reached, we’ll place you on a waiting list and let you know when a space becomes available.
All our workshops are free to attend and each workshop has a limited number of spaces. If you have booked a place on a workshop but you are unable to attend, please get in touch as soon as possible by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 01452 634018 to let us know. If you don’t let us know and simply miss the workshop, unfortunately we will need to charge £15 for the cost of the place. Thank you for your understanding.
