Workshop duration: 1:30pm – 4:30pm

This workshop offers an introduction to how buildings are designed so they are accessible to everyone. You will have the opportunity to discuss examples of environments that people with different disabilities will find difficult and gain a better understanding of everyday issues people encounter.

This workshop will provide you with an introduction to the development of inclusive legislation and the impact that has had on the design of physical spaces.

By the end of this workshop you will have;

  • Increased understanding of the principles of inclusive design
  • Explored examples of good and bad practice
  • More confidence to make spaces you are responsible for more accessible.

This workshop has a maximum capacity of 20 attendees and places are reserved on a first come, first serve basis. If you book onto the workshop after the capacity has been reached, please email to be placed on a waiting list.
