Rich Amos – Opportunities Award

Richard, a keen Boccia player, needed to upgrade his Boccia equipment to enable move on from local level competitions to compete successfully at a regional and national level.

Richard came to Barnwood Trust and as a part of the Opportunities Award received a grant for £1,000.

Richard said: “Receiving the grant from Barnwood Trust has enabled me to purchase world standard, specialist Boccia equipment – this has given me the ability to work towards my aim of becoming a recognised name in the world of Boccia and I have just been invited to join Boccia England’s National Talent Squad.”
