Funded Partner Programme

6 Barnwood Circle members and 3 Barnwood Trust staff scored applications to fund a variety of projects for the benefit of disabled people and people with mental health conditions across Gloucestershire. Recommendations for funding were then made to the Funding Committee for approval.

Access to Nature

This project group have been busy developing content to promote the importance of accessing natural spaces.
This creation of digital media will share individual experiences of how accessing nature has a positive impact on the lives of disabled people and people with mental health conditions

Access to Money Advice Research

Barnwood Circle members worked with our Research Team, testing ways of conducting research into accessing advice on benefits, budgeting and debt. This has involved creating mock projects to test research methods for use with individuals, small groups and large groups.
Involving Circle members in research is new for us and have been excited about exploring how they might be more involved in aspects of research in the future.

Social Media Strategy

The Marketing and Comms Team have been hearing the views of Barnwood Circle members on what makes engaging social media content. Their views and suggestions have informed the development of our new social media strategy, which will be in place later this year.
