2025 Impact Report
We have published our Impact Report for 2025, sharing how we have worked alongside people, communities and organisations across Gloucestershire to create change.
In a year shaped by collaboration and partnership, we worked with 119 organisations and awarded £6 million in grants to support disabled people and people with mental health conditions.
From individual grants helping people access everyday essentials and opportunities, to funding and investing in local organisations, the report highlights the many ways change is happening across the county.
But as the report shows, money is only part of the story.
Throughout 2025, we have continued to develop our role as an agent for social change—bringing people together, listening to lived experience, and working collectively to challenge barriers and create opportunities.
The report also reflects the importance of involving people with lived experience in shaping change. In 2025, 100 Barnwood Circle members helped influence our work, contributing to co-design projects and funding decisions.
Alongside this, we continued to focus on key areas including access to nature, digital inclusion, employment and short breaks for disabled children and young people—working with partners to test new approaches, build evidence and influence wider systems.
The stories and learning shared in the report highlight what can be achieved when people come together with a shared purpose. They also point to the work still to be done to create a fairer, more inclusive Gloucestershire.
“The best and most lasting change happens when truly diverse people from all places and perspectives Listen to each other, pool ideas, skills, abilities, build mutual understanding, support each other and act with care, creativity and commitment, together. Our role at Barnwood is to play our part as well as we can, with you, in this system we call home.“
