What am I responsible for?

I am responsible for making sure that we achieve the overall vision, goals and strategy for Barnwood, set hand in hand with our Trustees, with guidance from Barnwood Circle, and deliver the activities set out in our annual plan on time and to budget.  I also ensure that our organisational culture and values chime with our vision and manage the senior leadership team.

What do I enjoy spending time doing for my own wellbeing?

Like everyone else in this type of role doing this type of thing I feel compelled to write cooking, long walks in the countryside and spending time with my family. All ok but my family would probably also add: mending things, celebrity gossip, bikes and bike parts (including transacting them on Ebay), trainers and outdoor footwear, jackets filling different niches, tents, being nosy, sport of any kind, untangling knots, hoovering, Scottish fiddle music, the history of the world, hills and mountains and general ‘type 2 fun’ adventure in them involving some degree of misery, dried mango, cheese and drizzle.
