What am I responsible for?

I am responsible for leading on research projects looking at issues affecting disabled people and people with mental health challenges in Gloucestershire.

What brings me here?

I started my career supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs in a variety of settings before joining Barnwood Trust in 2016. In addition to my degree in Education Studies, I recently completed a Masters in Inclusion and Special Educational Needs.

What am I working on?

I am currently exploring the response to the pandemic by Gloucestershire communities. In this project we are considering: the learning from the past 12 months; how we, and other funders, might support communities to be more resilient; and how disabled people and people with mental health challenges can contribute to these communities.

What do I enjoy spending time doing for my own wellbeing?

I really enjoy going for long walks, particularly around the Forest of Dean. I am also a supporter of Gloucester Rugby (which is not great for my wellbeing at times!) and look forward to being able to get back to Kingsholm to watch them live! (He/him)
