What am I responsible for?

I am responsible for all things building and workplace related, so making sure everything works as it should, including IT systems as well as the health and safety of all employees wherever they may be working.

What brings me here?

My career began in finance having trained to AAT level 4 and held several Finance and Operations Manager roles in the voluntary sector. My first with the Trust was Data Manager having been introduced through working alongside the Trust in 2011-12. My role has developed over time from database development to a broader responsibility for IT and systems and then broader still to look after all workspace facilities and health and safety.

What am I working on?

Having just engaged with Enhance the UK to conduct an accessibility audit I will be working hard to ensure that Overton House is as accessible as is possible to people with disabilities and mental health challenges by making any recommended improvements. This is alongside managing any repairs and maintenance required to keep Overton House in tip-top condition, and continually reviewing all contracts relating to ICT and the day to day running of the building.

What do I enjoy spending time doing for my own wellbeing?

I’m currently enjoying being a homemaker. Recently have had the benefit of quality time with my boys and the family pets. One of my interests is DIY and I’m just at the end of a major house renovation so we’ve spent time landscaping the garden and have built a beautiful summerhouse. (She/her)
