Why do I want to be a Barnwood Trustee?

I felt that being a Barnwood trustee would combine well with my other activities enabling me to positively influence change  to improves the lives of a variety of neurodiverse people amongst others. I felt the role would also further enhance my own life.

What experience do I bring to the Trust?

I bring experience from a varied career in GCHQ, being deputy chair of Inclusion Gloucestershire, co-chair of Gloucestershire’s Autism partnership board and chair of an associated lived experience group. I was myself diagnosed autistic in later life. I also currently support Gloucestershire NHS improvements through its Partnerships and Inclusion team. Until recently I was on a panel assessing grants for organisations supporting unpaid carers in Gloucestershire.
