What am I responsible for?

I take overall responsibility for the work of Barnwood Trust’s Engagement Team. I make sure that disabled people and people with mental health challenges are involved in our work to help drive change in the county, and our communication and engagement activities have the greatest impact to support that change.

What brings me here?

I have worked at Barnwood for a few years now, mostly in marketing, communication and events. Previously, I worked as a Theatre Manager putting together programmes of indoor and outdoor theatre, film and community performances. Before that I studied theatre and education in London. This taught me that telling and hearing stories, being involved in activities with other people and sharing a purpose can help make a positive impact.

What do I enjoy spending time doing for my own wellbeing?

My dogs Peppa and Bailey keep me well, we enjoy walks together in the woods and snuggles on the sofa. Listening to music, podcasts or audiobooks when I’m driving is also a good stressbuster for me. And, I love cheese. (She/her)
