Josh Jones
Strategic Development Manager
What am I responsible for?
I am the Strategic Development Manager for Cheltenham and Tewkesbury. I am available to support organisations in developing community connections and other opportunities for disabled people and people with mental health challenges in the county.
What brings me here?
After spending 6 years working in communications, youth work and commercial radio in Gulu, Uganda, I moved back to the UK and began working in services providing housing related support. From there, I worked in involvement and participation, alongside people with lived experience of homelessness, disability and mental health challenges.
What am I working on?
Feel free to connect with me about housing for Disabled people and people with mental health challenges, involvement and participation, as well as Neurodiversity, particularly ADHD. Always happy to meet new people, listen to ideas and connect people to groups and organisations across the county.
What do I enjoy spending time doing for my own wellbeing?
I enjoy spending time with my wife and 3 daughters, traveling together. I love music (huge R&B listener), writing and enjoying great food with friends and family. (He/him)
