The Lightning Application Portal is a secure online portal which allows you to find and apply for support from multiple providers, quickly and easily.
We partner with local organisations who help Barnwood give grants to disabled people and people with mental health challenges in Gloucestershire, who are on a low income – for essential household items.
Partnership working
It is not possible to apply directly to Barnwood Trust for a grant for household items. Applications for this grant are made through a Gloucestershire organisation registered with Barnwood Trust to support the people they work with to apply.
Why has Barnwood made these changes?
We are taking this new approach so that our grants for household items are available to people who most need them. We want to give people a better experience of applying to Barnwood Trust for a grant, and we also want the people applying to us to get appropriate support.
